My name is Joe & I am a Amherst NY resident. I usually do not write reviews, but in this case I have to share my thoughts. I have a older home that my wife and I purchased 6 years ago. My wife noticed the sink in the basement backing up as she did the laundry. I tried to resolve the issue on my own, however I was unsuccessful. I did some research and came across Sunset Plumbing and seen the ratings. I thought that this was to good to be true but after discussing the problem with John over the phone I found out it wasn't. John was very professional & told me the potential causes. I asked about cost & his quote was very fair. He arrived within the timeframe he stated with his son Dave. They went right to work and had our home functioning again within an hour! My family was happy that the issue was resolved. 2 days later another separate issue occurred. I called John & he came to the rescue again. Once again he gave a very fair price and the job that he performed took time & hard work. Afterwards he told me how to prevent these issues from happening again in the future. I want to say thank you John & Dave for your hard work & you guys definitely have earned a new customer! Definitely recommend Sunset Plumbing and give them 2 thumbs up!

When I called last night with a plumbing issue, John and Dave were here first thing in the morning. They were on time, courteous, and efficient. They laid a tarp down to protect my hardwood floors in my kitchen and gave me ways to avoid my issue from happening again. We highly recommend them!

John is the BEST plumber ever. My husband and I have used his service for over 30 years. When we have an issue he responds promptly ( usually the same day) and he is efficient and affordable. Years ago we had a problem on Thanksgiving day and we were expected for dinner at our daughter's home 4 hours away. He came on Thanksgiving (can you believe?) so that we could leave town and know that our home was safe. Today I called hime with a plumbing issue that needed immediate attention and he was here within an hour. He is truly a master plumber.
